SAM'S FIRST STEPS!!!
He's actually walking on his own. I can't believe it. Anyone who reads this blog knows that this has been a long, long road for Sam, and for everyone who loves and helps him. I am so proud. I always said I would cry when he walked, and I did. He is so excited about it. He wants to walk again and again even though his legs are shaking. I am overwhelmed. I almost can't believe it's happening. We knew he was close, but not this close.I have to add one more thing... When Rob entered our lives last year, he brought so many blessings. Rob has been here all month and has worked with Sam, stretching and encouraging him to take on more responsibility for his own care. His medical training has been a great blessing. His support has been invaluable to me, and has had a huge impact on Sam's progress. Just wanted to send a little credit his way. Thanks, babe, for everything.
